10:30 AM · Cheongna Hill missionary houses → March 1st Movement Staircase → Gyesan Cathedral → Yi Sang-hwa Poet's Home — Daegu's award-winning colonial history walk.

12:30 PM — Lunch · Daegu's unique ttaro-gukbap (rice and broth served separately) or spicy muchim-hoe with flat dumplings in the city's liveliest market district.

2:30 PM · 1950s Daegu arts quarter perfectly reconstructed. Retro costume rental for photos is a highlight.

4:30 PM · Mural street with Kim Gwangseok's songs playing from speakers. Café break in Bangcheon Market alleys.

6:30 PM — Dinner · Charcoal-grilled gopchang in Daegu's most famous intestine alley — a quintessentially local Daegu dinner.

8:00 PM · Cable car to Apsan Observatory for Daegu's basin city panorama lit up at night.

10:30 AM · Ride Daegu's unique above-ground monorail (Line 3) — the city views from the elevated tracks are a sight in themselves. Alight at Suseong Lake Station and stroll the lakeside path lined with brunch cafés boasting wide water views.

12:30 PM — Lunch · Korea's largest food town, right beside Suseong Lake. Daegu-only mungtigi — same-day-slaughtered fresh-cut hanwoo beef eaten raw (weekdays only) — or fiercely spicy dongindong-style jjim-galbi braised ribs. Both are experiences you can't get outside Daegu.

2:30 PM · A spacious contemporary art museum with rotating high-quality exhibitions. The surrounding green grounds are equally pleasant to wander — a calm, unhurried afternoon counterpoint to the morning's busy lake district.

4:30 PM · One of Korea's three great Joseon-era markets. By day: ssiat-hotteok (seed-filled pancakes), kaljjebi noodles, and triangle dumplings. By evening: the dazzling night bazaar opens with fusion street food — tanghulu, cube steak, and more. A short trip to Dongdaegu Station closes the day.
